Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team! Imagine Next with Parsons as you work side by side with developers supporting offensive and defensive cyber operations. A TS/SCI w/ Polygraph active security clearance is required for consideration.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Performs test and evaluation of procured and developed cyber capabilities to ensure effective operational evaluation and acceptance for critical operations
  • Works with the development and operational teams to gather relevant information on capability requirements and perform representative capability testing to assess tool functionality and employment considerations prior to operational deployment
  • Performs test and evaluation on specific system capabilities, performance, and reliability
  • Design, develop, and execute load, stress, and endurance tests to evaluate system behavior
  • Work with developers to resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Demonstrate proficiency in virtual test environment design, to include familiarity configuring and deploying common operating systems and network flows

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years of experience in cyberspace operations including 2 years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, and/or x86
  • Ability to effectively assess software functionality and forensic artifacts in network traffic and on common operating systems

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Understanding in using cybersecurity testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
