Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Engineer with 10+ years of overall data integration experience to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud data integration solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Informatica IDMC, strong leadership skills, and the ability to architect robust, secure, and high-performance data pipelines in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic data initiatives across cloud and hybrid platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC

• Define best practices, standards, and frameworks for IDMC development and deployment

• Architect scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines

• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-prem to cloud platforms

Development & Delivery

• Develop complex mappings, tasks, and orchestration workflows using:

  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)

  • Cloud Application Integration (CAI)

  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)

• Integrate data from diverse sources including SaaS applications, APIs, relational databases, and cloud data warehouses

• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for large-scale data pipelines

• Implement advanced error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies

Governance, Quality & Security

• Enforce data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards

• Implement data validation rules, profiling, and reconciliation processes

• Ensure secure data handling, encryption, and access control across platforms

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, architects, and leadership

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level Informatica developers

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise development standards

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Operations & Support

• Oversee production deployments, release management, and CI/CD pipelines

• Provide Level 3 support for production issues and root cause analysis

• Proactively identify system improvements and automation opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 10+ years of experience in data integration, ETL/ELT, and data engineering

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC

• Extensive experience with:

  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)

  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)

  • Cloud Application Integration (CAI)

• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases

• Proven experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs and SaaS applications

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics architectures

• Excellent troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills

• Ability to work independently and lead teams in a remote environment
