Job Title: Part-Time Dentist

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Dentist to provide onsite dental care to residents at the Indiana Veterans’ Home.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments and interpret portable dental X-rays.
- Provide cleanings, fillings, periodontal treatment, extractions, and denture repairs.
- Develop daily oral care plans and oversee preventive dental care.
- Prescribe medications as needed and coordinate with facility medical staff.
- Monitor age-related dental issues, including those affecting residents with Alzheimer’s or cognitive decline.
- Educate nursing and caregiving staff on proper oral hygiene practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified dental professional with experience in general dentistry.
- Ability to provide dental care to elderly residents and individuals with cognitive or physical limitations.
- Must be available to work onsite in Lafayette, IN, for 8 hours per week.
