Contract: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Python Developer/Automation Engineer to build scalable automation solutions for security and infrastructure operations. This role is focused on software development, API integrations, and workflow automation, with network security experience considered a plus rather than a requirement.
What You'll Do
- Develop Python-based automation tools and workflows.
- Build integrations using REST APIs and enterprise platforms.
- Automate security, infrastructure, and operational processes.
- Use GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with security teams to turn requirements into automated solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong Python development experience.
- Hands-on automation engineering and scripting.
- REST API development and integration.
- GitHub, version control, and branching strategies.
- Ability to independently design, build, and explain technical solutions.
- Strong communication and project ownership.
Preferred Skills
- Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Firewall and network security automation exposure.
- Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet technologies.
- Cloud and DevOps experience.
- AI experience is a plus, not required.
Ideal Candidate
A Software Engineer, Python Developer, Automation Engineer, Platform Engineer, or DevOps Engineer who can demonstrate hands-on coding expertise, explain technical decisions, and showcase real-world automation projects from concept to implementation.
