Network Security Analyst

Introduction

We are seeking a Network Security Analyst to support vulnerability remediation and cloud security compliance initiatives within a large enterprise cloud environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities while ensuring cloud-hosted systems remain secure, compliant, and operationally resilient.

This role requires close collaboration with Cloud Operations, Security, Application, and Risk Management teams to execute remediation activities, perform cloud patching, implement security hardening measures, and support enterprise vulnerability management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze vulnerability findings from approved security scanning tools.
  • Assess vulnerability impact across cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Execute remediation activities including patching, configuration updates, and security hardening.
  • Validate remediation efforts and ensure successful closure of security findings.
  • Perform cloud-based patching and update activities using approved operational processes.
  • Implement compensating controls when vendor patches are unavailable.
  • Maintain remediation documentation, audit records, and compliance evidence.
  • Follow change management and ITSM processes for all remediation activities.
  • Provide remediation status updates for audits, compliance reviews, and leadership reporting.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Operations, Security, Architecture, and Application teams.
  • Identify recurring vulnerabilities and recommend process improvements.
  • Support initiatives to strengthen cloud security posture and reduce technical debt.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise vulnerability management programs
  • Understanding of remediation SLAs and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
  • Familiarity with security baselines and risk reporting
  • Cloud and Security certifications preferred
