Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and ETL development to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, managing data transformation workflows, and supporting analytics and reporting solutions.

This role requires deep experience working with data warehousing environments, ETL tools, and large-scale data processing.

Mandatory Skills

• IBM DataStage 6+ years of hands-on experience (including current project work)

• Microsoft SQL Server

• ETL Development

• Data Warehousing

• SSIS

• PowerShell

• Python

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines following enterprise data architecture standards.

• Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Build and maintain metadata-driven data workflows and orchestration pipelines.

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL queries.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and workflows.

• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data jobs in production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong experience with SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning).

• Hands-on experience in ETL development using tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or custom frameworks.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

• Familiarity with metadata-driven pipeline orchestration frameworks is a plus.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is a plus.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
