The ideal candidate combines strong automation engineering expertise with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

  • Build reusable testing libraries and utilities for authentication, OAuth2/JWT validation, pagination, idempotency, rate limiting, and error handling.
  • Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, contract, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Create negative, edge-case, resilience, and fault-injection test scenarios to validate system reliability.
  • Develop and maintain deterministic test environments, fixtures, synthetic data sets, and automated data seeding processes.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Implement automated reporting, test execution monitoring, and quality gates within release pipelines.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and system design discussions to advocate for testability and quality best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues using logs, traces, network traffic analysis, API tooling, and command-line utilities.
  • Document automation frameworks, testing patterns, best practices, and operational runbooks.
  • Partner effectively with developers, product teams, and platform stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-6+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation, or Software Quality Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Solid understanding of API testing and modern service-based architectures.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD platforms.
  • Familiarity with test data management, mock services, and test environment configuration.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across logs, traces, APIs, and network traffic.
  • Experience using tools such as Postman, curl, or similar testing utilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow platform experience.
  • Experience testing cloud-based and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with performance, reliability, and security testing methodologies.
