Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Tableau and Alteryx Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our analytics platform environment.
- This role is responsible for platform administration, performance tuning, automation, security, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of Tableau and Alteryx Server environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on administration of Tableau Server and Alteryx Server, including installation, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, security, APIs, automation, and firewall configuration.
- Experience with authentication and identity management (SAML, Active Directory, SSO).
- Strong networking knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot server, application, and user access issues.
- Proven experience resolving Tableau and Alteryx performance issues, including dashboard and workflow optimization.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell and Python.
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates for Tableau and Alteryx platforms.
- Ability to participate in 24/7 production support and on-call rotations.
Nice to Have
- AWS experience, including EC2, VPCs, networking, and certificate management.
- Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
