Job Title: Data Engineer with Starburst Enterprise and Trino experience
DOD (Dept of Defense) / Department of War (DOW) projects

Duration: up to 12 months Contract with possible extensions
Location: Remote Work
Work Schedule: 4/10 – 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday; 10 hours per day
Pay Rate: $140/hr - on W2 [the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications]

Skills Required:
Candidates must have strong and demonstrated experience with both Starburst Enterprise and Trino
· 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or DevSecOps
· Strong experience with Starburst Enterprise/Trino/Presto
· Strong experience with advanced Linux scripting and proficiency in a language. Preferred Redhat 8 Administration and Ansible
· Experience with Iceberg, Hive, or similar table formats
· Solid understanding of distributed query engines and data architectures
· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc)
· Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or similar IaC tools
· Proficiency in at least on programming language (Python, or similar)
· Experience implementing data security, access controls and governance at scale
· Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
