Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support capital and compliance-driven projects within our Power and Controls organization. This position is a backfill for a contractor who has left the company and will be responsible for managing multiple engineering and construction projects from initiation through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering and construction projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning to project closeout.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, environmental, right-of-way (ROW), and construction teams.
  • Manage contractor activities and support bid evaluation and award processes.
  • Monitor project execution, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support outage planning and ensure project readiness for service.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically, six years of progressive related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.)
  • Five or more years of experience in engineering, technical services, or construction of gas pipeline facilities.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing capital infrastructure or compliance-driven projects.
  • Knowledge of natural gas pipeline facilities, compressor stations, industrial construction, or utility infrastructure.
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, contractor coordination, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with company project management processes and construction execution practices.
