Neos is Seeking a Senior .NET API Developer for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Analyzes and converts detailed specifications, and data from project specifications and statements of problems and procedures, to create or modify computer programs. Prepares or receives detailed functional and technical specifications to describe sequence of steps that program must follow and input, output, and logical operations involved.

May work with Systems Analyst to obtain and analyze project specifications. Analyzes proposed computer applications in terms of equipment requirements and capabilities. May prepare computer block diagrams and machine logic flowcharts for detailed coding of problems.

Writes new programs and analyzes, reviews, and rewrites existing programs to solve problems, increase operating efficiency, or adapt to new requirements.

Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Prepares test data. Corrects program errors. Documents the methods and procedures used in developing, testing and correcting programs.

Writes instructions to guide operating personnel during production runs.

Assists in designing programs and systems architecture; preparing program specifications; coding, testing, and debugging computer programs; and interpreting technical information relating to computer programming and other areas of data processing.

Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

8 years Windows Server 2012, IIS 7 or 8, .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Standard 2.x, .NET Core App 2.x, ActiveReports

8 years Web services, REST API, SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL

8 years Expertise working with data structures and algorithms

6 years XML related technologies XSD, DTD, XSLT, XPATH

6 years Service-oriented Architecture frameworks and web services integration design

6 years Object-oriented programming and experience applying modern design patterns

6 years Experience in developing APIs, and using both sync and async integration patterns (Rest, SOAP, XML, messaging, queues, event streams, etc.)

5 years Systems integration / Enterprise integration & workflow patterns

5 years Integration with COTS products

5 years Agile development tools & practices

5 years Unit testing and version management tools

5 years Experience in designing, implementing and testing database functional objects (Triggers, Procedures, Packages, Functions, Jobs, etc.)

5 years Strong hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical modeling, data normalization process, and data access strategies

5 years Knowledge of and/or experience with software development, testing, and quality assurance methodologies

5 years DB Tools: SQL Developer, Modeling tools (Erwin / IDERA / TOAD)
