Enterprise Cybersecurity Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity:

As an Enterprise Cybersecurity Artificial Intelligence, your broad understanding of cybersecurity automation, ML-enabled detection, and emerging Generative AI capabilities will allow you to design and implement AI-driven cybersecurity solutions in alignment with Booz Allen's Enterprise security strategy, across complex enterprise environments. Your broad understanding of industry and technology cyber-based AI solutions will ensure best-in-class, compliant, and secure configurations for Booz Allen. Additionally, this role requires you to operate with significant autonomy, provide visible technical leadership, and influence enterprise security direction. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You'll Work On:
  • Lead the design, strategy, and effectiveness of Booz Allen's AI-driven cybersecurity capabilities
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled threat detection, automated response, and anomaly detection technologies, ensuring they meet enterprise security standards
  • Provide architecture guidance, support governance forums, and champion secure AI configuration management
  • Partner with threat intelligence, security operations, and engineering teams to build threat-informed AI protection models and strengthen the enterprise security posture
  • Drive adoption of AI-security standards and philosophies, lead integration of AI within enterprise security platforms, and develop and maintain secure configurations across a diverse IT environment
  • Apply expertise to conduct technical analysis on threats, incidents, and security considerations tied to AI platforms.
  • Collaborate across cyber, platform, governance, and endpoint teams to evolve the enterprise cyber-AI ecosystem
  • Communicate insights across teams and support response actions needed to protect the enterprise.

You Have:
  • Experience developing cyber logging and building queries in Splunk, or ELK Stack to gain a further understanding of configuration control quality
  • Experience in solution configuring and tuning AI-based cybersecurity technologies like Darktrace, IBM Watson for Cyber Security, or Cylance
  • Knowledge of Generative AI industry evolution, effective prompt generation, models differentiators, architecture and solution design
  • Knowledge of system, network, application, and security architectures, including how AI-based cybersecurity solutions can improve delivery
  • Knowledge of key cyber threats including nation-state actors, malware and ransomware, command and control infrastructures, and mitigations through AI technologies
  • Knowledge of key cyber processes such as security incident handling, risk posture measurement, change management, and the integration of AI for these purposes
  • Ability to collaborate with professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with technologists and leaders across the enterprise
  • Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in the cyber industry including cyber identify, detect, and protect solution development and deployment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in the cyber industry including cyber identify, detect, and protect solution development and deployment



Nice If You Have:
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining security solutions and configurations in enterprise class organizations
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or similar, including for AI model development and deployment
  • Knowledge of SQL language or similar languages for data reporting
  • Knowledge of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in security, including machine learning and deep learning techniques
  • IT Engineering Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $128,700.00 to $292,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
