Job Description:
The OFSAA Transaction Monitoring Technology Lead is accountable for the technical design, build, and stability of the OFSAA Transaction Monitoring platform supporting enterprise AML programs. This role provides deep hands on leadership across OFSAA, FCCM, ETL/IETL, Oracle, scheduling, and data pipelines, ensuring the platform is resilient, scalable, and compliant.
The Tech Lead acts as the primary technical authority for Transaction Monitoring, driving architecture decisions, resolving complex production issues, and guiding engineering teams through platform changes, upgrades, and regulatory initiatives.
Core Responsibilities: Technical Ownership & Architecture:
Own the end to end technical architecture of the OFSAA Transaction Monitoring platform (OFSAA, FCCM, Oracle DB, ETL, scheduling, integrations)
Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices for TM processing, job orchestration, and data handling
Evaluate and drive platform enhancements, performance optimizations, and modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud enablement, refactoring, re engineering)
OFSAA TM Engineering & Platform Build:
Lead hands on engineering for OFSAA Transaction Monitoring jobs, including ER, TM, reconciliation, validation, and supporting batch processes
Design and maintain AutoSys job flows, dependencies, restartability, and recovery strategies
Provide deep technical guidance on Oracle SQL, partitioning, statistics collection, and performance tuning
Review and approve TM technical designs, runbooks, and implementation artifacts
Production Support & Complex Issue Resolution:
Act as the highest level technical escalation point for OFSAA TM production incidents
Perform root cause analysis across OFSAA, ETL/IETL, Oracle DB, file ingestion, and scheduling layers
Design permanent fixes for recurring issues, data breaks, and performance bottlenecks
Proactively identify and remediate technical risks before they impact AML operations
Data Quality, Controls & Reconciliation:
Design and oversee technical data quality controls, validations, and reconciliations feeding TM scenarios
Ensure technical integrity between source systems, staging layers, and OFSAA TM tables
Partner with data and controls teams to embed preventive and detective controls directly into TM pipelines
Change Delivery & Regulatory Initiatives:
Lead technical delivery for scenario changes, tuning, threshold updates, lookbacks, and regulatory commitments
Drive TM changes through SDLC with strong focus on testability, traceability, and audit readiness
Support audits, exams, and model risk reviews by providing technical explanations, evidence, and system traceability
