This is an ideal opportunity for someone committed to the actuarial path who wants hands-on experience with real actuarial models, strong mentorship, and clear long-term growth.

This role offers direct exposure to Cash Flow Testing, financial reporting, and model validation - working closely with senior actuaries, including the Appointed Actuary team.

Analyze results and begin to understand key drivers of model performance
Partner with Model Development to test updates and enhancements to actuarial models
Support production controls and contribute to improving processes and workflows
Maintain documentation and support SOX controls related to model runs
Assist with audit and regulatory requests tied to actuarial modeling
Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and risk teams on broader reporting efforts

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
2+ SOA exams completed with clear intent to continue on the actuarial path
0-2 years of actuarial experience (internship or full-time), preferably within life insurance or annuities
Strong analytical and technical skills, including Excel proficiency
Exposure to programming (Python, VBA, or similar) is a plus
Interest in actuarial modeling, valuation, or asset-liability management
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
High level of curiosity, accountability, and desire to learn

Growth opportunity
This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong actuarial foundation. You will gain exposure to real business applications of actuarial modeling, develop technical and analytical skills, and grow into increased ownership over time.
