Job Description & Skill Requirement:
 
Support sourcing & supplier development programs, involving multiple geographical regions.
• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
• Define & monitor KPI for sourcing team, drive growth with organisational objectives.
• Working exposure to various engineering commodities (Castings, Forgings, Sheet metal, Machined items, Plastic, Rubber, Assemblies, etc.)
•  Sourcing feasibility study and identify potential suppliers across India for various parts & contract manufacturing of box build products.
• ‘Should Cost Analysis’ and RFQ Management, Price negotiation.
• Component development as per PPAP, CAPA and Problem solving, 
• Support in VAVE and Teardown projects.
• Drive cost reduction programs
•Part commoditization / categorization
Identify potential suppliers prepare RFQ package
Complete NDA formalities, float RFQ, Receive quote from supplier. 
Review of quotation, quote synthesis,  prelim discussion with supplier on cost
Final feasibility submission and revised quote receipt from supplier
Co-ordination for technical sign-off & Development plan agreement with Mercury team & Supplier
Supplier registration in Mercury System
Co-ordinate for Component Development

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Bachelor of Science or Degree in Engineering
