Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to support and administer a large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment built on the Teradata ecosystem. The selected candidate will serve as the platform administrator across Production, Development/Disaster Recovery, and Test environments while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence.

Required Skills (8+ Years):

Teradata Database Administration

Teradata upgrades, provisioning, and software maintenance

Scripting using BASH, Perl, Python, and Glink

Teradata ecosystem health monitoring

Teradata node management

Teradata Viewpoint administration

Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU)

PSIM (Platform Service Intelligent Monitoring) administration

Teradata vendor upgrades

Teradata workload management

Backup and recovery

Performance tuning and resource optimization

ETL processes

Unix/Linux administration

Cloud computing fundamentals (preferably Microsoft Azure)

Statistics

Security audits and compliance planning

Knowledge of federal compliance standards including NIST 800-53, IRS Publication 1075, SSA, Medicaid, and related security requirements
