Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the development of manufacturing process concepts for HVAC manufacturing.
  • Design and purchase process gauging as needed.
  • Design, contract and implement material handling systems.
  • Material Flow, Work Cell Design, Plant Layout
  • Lead and/or assist in the implementation of complex projects.
  • Contribute to LRP needs for area of responsibility.
  • Advanced troubleshooting processing machines and equipment.
  • Subject matter expert in one or more area.
  • Compile and analyze statistical process control data to determine required changes.
  • Manage equipment and service supplier contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage onsite contractor.
  • Compile quotations for equipment modification and cost estimating for process changes.
  • Support asset care and reliability programs.
  • Justify capital expenditures for process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Develop, Maintain and update PFMEA's, method sheets and manufacturing execution systems as required.
  • Develop maintain and update equipment programming electronic files as required.
  • Investigate ergonomic, safety, quality and manufacturing process concerns and develop solutions.
  • Support MDI team and process of problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and Trainer to co-workers.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
