Our client seeks a Market Research Specialist who will manage primary research, brand health tracking, and applied insights to inform business and marketing strategies. The specialist will analyze external vendor datasets using Excel and, if applicable, analytical tools such as Python, R, or SAS.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $25.00 to $30.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Leverage expertise in primary and secondary research to inform business and marketing strategies.
Design and execute market research projects, select methodologies, assess pricing and feasibility, conduct analyses, and present insights.
Partner with business, media, advertising, and marketing teams to translate objectives into a research agenda that guides strategy.
Present brand and marketing insights to internal clients and leaders to drive discussion and business action.
Perform periodic data pulls and ad hoc analyses to inform key decisions.
Maintain and expand knowledge of evidence-based marketing to refine brand strategy and measurement.
Analyze external vendor datasets and synthesize brand marketing insights.

Experience Requirements:

At least 4 years in a primary market research role on the supplier or client side.
Experience managing primary research and applying insights to business outcomes.
Experience in brand health tracking and long-term marketing research projects, ideally in financial services.
Experience presenting insights to stakeholders in a consultative capacity.
Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or similar tools preferred.
Experience managing an ongoing tracking study preferred.
Subject matter expertise in B2B and B2C technology preferred.
Experience at a Fortune 500 or a company known for marketing and market research disciplines preferred.
Basic knowledge of database management systems.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
