Localization Project Manager

A globally leading consumer device company based in Austin, TX is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join their team.
Job responsibilities:

• End-to-end planning and management of localization projects strategy to ensure timely deliveries of UI features with the highest quality.
• Adhering to stringent security and confidentiality requirements while collaborating with both external and internal partners.
• Overseeing the creation detailed localization requirement documents for engineering development team
• Monitoring quality output from our translation, and reporting on the overall progress of the projects including reporting on overall status of project throughout the major phases.
• Working very closely with our Localization QA team to come up with a QA strategy to ensure in-context quality of the features.
• Collaborating across localization teams to create and maintain glossaries and reference materials to ensure consistency across the ecosystem (software, marketing, support )

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in localization and/or project management.
Ability to learn and manage data in complex content management systems.
Coordinate localization projects along other LPMs, vendors, localization staff, QA and other departments across Apple globally.
Experience project managing multiple languages desired and ability to deal with large volumes in up to 40 languages simultaneously.
Experience with planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within very tight timeframes.

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Austin, TX (onsite or hybrid)
Pay rate: $40.00 - $55.00 ph (DOE)
