Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer Contractor to join our dynamic Deloitte project team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java full-stack development, JavaScript frameworks, databases, and DevOps tooling and a proven ability to deliver scalable, maintainable web applications that meet performance, security, and usability goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components for web applications with seamless integration.
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces to support optimal user experience.
- Build server-side logic, define and maintain databases, and ensure performance and reliability.
- Perform testing, debugging, and secure development practices including CI/CD, TDD, and code reviews.
- Lead and collaborate on client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement and optimization.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, escalating issues when needed.
- Design and develop key application components using Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, Spring, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, and IAM.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years as a Java Full Stack Developer delivering maintainable, scalable, defect-free code.
- 7+ years with JavaScript, Angular, and HTML.
- 7+ years with Spring, Node.js, and MySQL.
- 7+ years with MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Advanced level in Full Stack development with 6-9 years of experience.
- Onsite work required in Pleasanton, CA. Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and deliver technical demonstrations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information
- Project stage: Sold/Funded. No expenses permitted.
- Max vendor rate: $85/hour inclusive of supplier mark-up.
- Client flow down terms apply, including drug testing and background checks via First Advantage and client checks.
- Work will not be performed outside the United States.
- Hours per day: 8. Labor type: Business Professional.
