Location: Redondo Beach, California (Onsite)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support development, operations, and maintenance contracts. In this role, you will design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. This position requires working 100% on-site in a secure facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
- Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
- Prepare operating instructions for developed systems.
- Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensure adherence to software standards.
Required Qualifications
Education: 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 10 years with a Master's degree; 8 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance: Candidates must be willing to obtain an SCI within a reasonable time period as determined by the company prior to start date.
Technical Skills:- Working knowledge of Advanced Object-Oriented programming.
- Proficiency in the C++ programming language.
- Knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system.
- Experience with Java and Python.
- Strong aptitude in mathematics and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret /SCI
- Experience with DevSecOps Test Automation.
- Familiarity with additional programming or scripting languages such as C and Perl.
- Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
- Experience developing in a Linux environment using git.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
