• CT Visualization Software Engineer focused on developing advanced medical imaging and visualization solutions for CT data.
• Designs and builds 2D/3D visualization workflows including MPR, MIP, volume rendering, and curved planar reformation.
• Develops interactive tools for anatomical navigation, measurements, annotations, and device sizing/simulation.
• Works heavily with CT imaging data (DICOM) and large datasets, optimizing rendering performance and memory usage.
• Implements image processing capabilities such as segmentation, surface reconstruction, and registration techniques.
• Collaborates closely with clinicians, Product, and UX teams to translate clinical workflows into usable software.
• Supports validation against clinical datasets and contributes to regulatory documentation when needed.
• Contract role (6 months) with flexibility for remote work but occasional travel to key locations if required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with CT imaging data (DICOM) and medical image visualization.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or C#/.NET.
• Experience with visualization technologies (VTK, OpenGL, GPU rendering).
• Strong foundation in 3D geometry, linear algebra, image processing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with image processing techniques (segmentation, registration, modeling) and handling large datasets.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians, product, and UX teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with DICOM toolkits (DCMTK, GDCM) and medical imaging workflows (PACS, VNA).
• Background in cardiac CT, structural heart, or interventional planning.
• Exposure to AI/ML-based segmentation and cloud imaging solutions.
• Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, IEC 62304).
• Willingness to travel occasionally if not located near key sites (CA, MN, MA).
