A California-based entertainment company is seeking a new Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development and ongoing support of reporting and analytics products for the Home Entertainment business.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Home Entertainment business leaders
Serve as the primary product partner for reporting, analytics and data needs
Build a strong understanding of how content is created, marketed, sold and distributed
Learn the systems, data and key performance indicators that support the Home Entertainment business
Own and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for reporting and analytics products
Partner with business stakeholders to define outcomes, evaluate requests and prioritize the product backlog.
Lead discovery, requirements-gathering and solution-design sessions
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications
Partner with engineering, data, architecture and enterprise technology teams to deliver reporting and advanced analytics solutions
Guide initiatives from concept through launch and adoption
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience across Product Management, data platforms, business intelligence, reporting or analytics, including experience leading complex initiatives
6+ years of experience in a reporting or analytics environment with direct business-stakeholder engagement
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated ownership of product vision, roadmaps, requirements, prioritization and delivery for medium- to large-scale data, reporting or analytics products
Strong knowledge of data architecture and data warehousing concepts
Experience with dimensional modeling, data normalization and ELT processes
Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, multi-table joins and analytical functions
Working knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy or Tableau
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform and their integration with traditional hosting environments
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize input from business and technical teams into clear recommendations
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and broader software development lifecycle practices
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills across business, technical and senior leadership audiences

Power BI experience
Salesforce integration experience
Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning or emerging analytics technologies
