We provide the resources, inspiration and focus - if you have the resourcefulness and courage to work hard, then we want to build a better tomorrow with you. Come and experience your future!

The Work

We are seeking a Hardware & Systems Integration Engineer with experience in building, integrating, and supporting complex hardware systems. This role bridges electrical, mechanical, A/V, and network disciplines, integrating diverse technologies into cohesive, reliable solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment - comfortable diagnosing hardware down to the component level, managing organized inventory systems, and supporting installations and demonstrations at trade shows and customer sites worldwide.

As part of the Innovation Demonstration Center (IDC) team you will work with a multidisciplined team to demonstrate, operate, and maintain flight, land, and sustainment training demonstration systems.

As a key member of our Engineering team, you will:
Apply engineering best practices to solve unique, complex problems for TLS products and IRADs.
Showcase products to customers, stakeholders, and IDC visitors in a fast paced environment.
Host and operate VTC hardware for customer meetings as needed.
Perform hands on system installation and configuration tasks.
Provide expert recommendations based on systems expertise.
Apply systems engineering methodologies across several development environments.

Who You Are

You are a hardware engineer with a proven ability to navigate complex, high-stakes environments. You excel at technical coordination, process discipline, and working across multidisciplinary teams. You bring a mix of analytical skills, engineering knowledge, and customer-facing experience.

This position will require the selected candidate to have the ability to obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Note: This role will require the ability to travel domestically and internationally to trade shows, field installations, and customer sites (approximately 10%).

Why Join Us

Joining Lockheed Martin means becoming part of a team that is pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology while making a tangible impact on global defense readiness. You'll work on some of the most advanced training systems in the world, collaborate with top engineering talent, and see your work directly contribute to mission-critical outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering field
Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware down to the component level.
Experience performing routine maintenance and system installations including mechanical and electrical integration.
Ability to lift and handle equipment safely and use standard hand/power tools.
Experience with Agile development methodologies

Desired skills

Lighting systems (such as DMX) and audio systems (such as Dante and DSP)
Visual display experience including projector alignment, blending, and calibration; Direct-view LED and other large-format display systems
RS-232 serial devices and distributed I/O control systems
Power distribution, load balancing, and electrical safety best practices
Reading, interpreting, and creating wiring diagrams, schematics, and wire lists
