Overview:
This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in the Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate needs to have prior hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and proven track record performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Hands-on FTW implementation experience is a strong plus.
Role Responsibilities:
Support multiple Fidessa trading systems
Integrate Fidessa systems into the Bank's technology stack
Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates
Work with BAs/PM and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements
Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools
Required Skills
3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience
Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA
FIX protocol
TCL, Unix shell scripting
Platforms: Linux, Windows 10
Agile SDLC
Front Office Development experience
Understanding of equities trading workflows and general equities market knowledge
Excellent analytical, design, and system integration skills
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in parallel
Takes ownership, pro-active individual with a strong interest to learn the business
Enthusiastic towards completing a task
Candidate should be able to work with little supervision
Desired Skills
3+ years of core Java development experience
Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience
FTW development a strong plus
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr.
