Role Purpose
Drive domain-led test strategy, functional coverage, and cross-team alignment for the Investment Management (SIMPL) Platform program's Integration Testing, ensuring complex Asset Management workflows are validated effectively across systems. This role sits within the Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE), translating business processes into scalable testing approaches while guiding TCOE test execution teams with domain context. It provides leadership with clear visibility into testing progress, risks, and readiness, enabling informed delivery decisions in a large, multi-stream program.
Activities & Deliverables
Test Strategy & Scenario Design:
The resource will be responsible for defining the end-to-end test strategy and ensuring comprehensive coverage across key business workflows. This includes designing domain-driven test scenarios that address edge cases and cross-workflow dependencies, translating business processes into structured testing guidance, and ensuring alignment between CSIT and UAT activities. Key deliverables include the Test Strategy document, scenario inventory with coverage and traceability mapping, and CSIT-UAT scenario alignment.
Defect Triage & Quality Oversight:
The role will lead defect triage activities with a focus on business impact and workflow criticality. Responsibilities include driving prioritization and resolution alignment across teams, identifying systemic issues, and analyzing root cause trends. Deliverables include defect triage summaries, prioritization frameworks, and quality insights based on defect analysis.
Testing Governance & Program Coordination:
The resource will establish testing governance frameworks and oversee execution progress from the TCOE. This includes driving collaboration across business, technology, and testing teams, while providing reporting on risks, readiness, dependencies, and overall testing progress. Deliverables include integrated test tracking and reporting, weekly executive status updates, RAID logs, and action and decision tracking.
Performance Testing Oversight (Program-Level):
The role will oversee non-functional testing requirements and manage dependencies across stakeholders, including architects, performance testing teams, and application teams. Responsibilities include communicating progress, risks, and readiness to stakeholders, as well as supporting issue escalation and triage from a program-level perspective. Deliverables include performance testing status and findings reports, and an integrated readiness view covering both functional and performance testing.
