Role Overview
The Architect will lead design and solution architecture for the Pharmacy Systems ecosystem within Commercial Technologies spanning GuardianRX, customized Salesforce, Azure Logic Apps middleware, APIbased services, and multiple hybrid systems. The role partners with product, engineering, risksecurity, and vendor teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable architectures that enable patient access, coordination services, clinical data workflows, eRx, drug fulfillment, claims, payments, labelsprinting, shipping, and operational support.
The ideal candidate blends handson integration architecture with governance, standards, and endtoend systems thinking, and can connect the dots across business and technology to drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, and guide implementation of applications, services, and integrations aligned to business objectives and enterprise standards.
Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and standards ensure reuse and consistency across teams.
Lead architecture & design reviews, ensure alignment to target state, resiliency, performance, and security baselines.
Plan & oversee system implementations ensuring scalability, maintainability, and minimal production impact.
Provide endtoend architectural views across GuardianRX, Salesforce, middleware, APIs, and downstream systems.
Apply structured problem solving to resolve complex productionsystem issues drive RCA and preventive design improvements.
Partner with RiskSecurity to embed controls, privacy, and security best practices into solutions.
Collaborate with engineering leads, managed service partners, and vendors provide technicalarchitectural guidance.
Translate business goals into technology roadmaps advise on short and longterm planning and modernization.
Define tasks, milestones, and deliverables that satisfy program objectives and architectural KPIs.
Recommend new practices, models, metrics, and tooling to improve integration quality, standardization, and operability.
Serve as escalation point for crossfunctional technical issues requiring architectural oversight.
Communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders produce highquality architectural documentation.
Required Technical Skills
Integration & Middleware: Azure Logic Apps, Azure pipelines APIfirst design eventingasync patterns.
API Management & Tooling: SwaggerHub, APIGEE, Postman API security, versioning, lifecycle.
Data & Platforms: TSQL SQL Server, data modeling for integration, operational analytics.
Monitoring & Observability: Splunk (dashboards, alerts, log analysis) performance, capacity & stability tuning.
DevOps & SDLC: CICD with Jenkins or Concourse Azure DevOps automated testing in pipelines branchrelease strategies.
Ecosystem Awareness (nice to have direct exposure): GuardianRX, CPerx, Queen City, CMS WordLink, Omnisys, Genesis.
Foundations: Strong grasp of OS, databases, app servers, cloud, networking basics, and resiliency (HADR).

Qualifications & Experience
8 12 years overall experience (preferred) with demonstrable architecturesolution design leadership.
Bachelor s degree in CSEngineeringIT or equivalent work experience (preferred).
Proven experience translating business objectives into strategic architecture and executable designs.
Strong leadership & stakeholder management ability to influence across product, delivery, risksecurity, and vendors.
Clear understanding of industry trends and relevant emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, architectural documentation, analytical presentation, and problemsolving skills.

Healthcare industry exposure.
Experience in data analyticsdata science concepts for operational insights.
Prior Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture experience at programportfolio scale.
