Ready to take your technical expertise to the next level without burning out in the process? We believe great engineers do their best work when they're supported, challenged, and trusted, not treated like a ticket-closing machine.
We're looking for a Network Engineer to play a key role within our Managed Services team, working alongside experienced professionals to help design, stabilize, and support complex client environments across central Minnesota. You'll contribute to a range of IT projects, collaborate with a solid team, and help deliver the kind of service that keeps clients with us long term.
This is a hybrid, full-time role, with a mix of remote work and client site visits throughout the central Minnesota region.
What You'll Do

- Provide onsite and remote support to clients across highly diverse environments
- Monitor, manage, and maintain client systems using RMM tools
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve network, server, and end-user issues
- Communicate project updates and issue status to clients and internal teams via PSA tools, documentation, email, and phone
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to expedite issue resolution
- Manage and document service tickets with accurate time entry
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (approximately 1 week every 5-6 weeks)
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security best practices
What You Bring
- 3+ years of Network Engineering experience in a Managed Service Provider environment
- 5+ years of combined IT field experience (network engineering, service desk, field technician, or similar)
- Solid experience with networking fundamentals: firewalls, switches, network protocols, and VPN
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure administration
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery monitoring
- Experience supporting Microsoft Server 2016-2022 environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity incident response and best practices
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and CJIS authorization requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience with SonicWall, Fortinet, and/or Ubiquiti networking equipment
- Familiarity with Datto and Slide for backup and disaster recovery
- Experience with ConnectWise (PSA) and IT Glue (documentation)
- Virtualization experience
Benefits
Sales commission opportunities, cell phone and vehicle reimbursements, educational development and certification reimbursements, insurance, company-matched retirement, and more.
