MMIS Enterprise Architect Cloud & Compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Management, or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or cloud architecture roles, with direct MMIS/Medicaid experience.

• 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in enterprise environments.

• Proven track record in security and compliance for healthcare IT.

• Strong understanding of quality management processes and standards (ISO 9000, etc.).

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)

• Quality Management certifications (ISO, Six Sigma)

Tools & Technologies

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK), Azure (optional), Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, CI/CD tools 

• Security: IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SIEM, multi-factor authentication, encryption tools 

• Quality & Compliance: ISO 9000, HIPAA, MARS-E, CMS MITA, audit and reporting tools.

• Collaboration & Documentation: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, TOGAF), project management platforms.

Desired Skills

• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. 

• Deep knowledge of Medicaid regulations and MMIS business processes.

• Experience with automation, system integration, and performance optimization.
