RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Sales Compensation Expert in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
* Document and standardize existing sales compensation processes, workflows, and calculation logic
* Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas across compensation tracking and payouts
* Improve and optimize spreadsheet-based models and reporting (auditability, usability, scalability)
* Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, RevOps) to ensure alignment and clarity on compensation mechanics
* Support validation and reconciliation of commission calculations
* Provide recommendations to improve transparency, accuracy, and repeatability of compensation processes
* Assist with tooling alignment, including experience with incentive compensation platforms like Spiff
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, RevOps, or Sales Finance
* Strong background in process optimization, documentation, and operational design
* Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex models, logic structuring, QA)
* Experience managing or supporting commission calculations and sales incentive structures
* Ability to quickly understand existing systems and create structure without over-engineering
* Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate complex logic into clear documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience with Spiff (Salesforce Spiff) or similar ICM platforms
* Spiff is an incentive compensation management tool used to automate commissions and provide real-time visibility into compensation
* Experience working in high-growth SaaS or fintech environments
* Familiarity with short-term incentive programs (SPIFFs), which are targeted rewards used to drive specific sales behaviors without changing the broader plan
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
