Duration: 12+ Months (initial 6 months, extension expected)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented User-to-Role Mapping Coordinator to support a large-scale SAP transformation program involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and SuccessFactors. This role is responsible for executing and governing end-user access mapping across Finance, Supply Chain, and HXM domains to ensure users receive appropriate access aligned to future-state business processes.

The role works closely with Security, Functional, HRBP, and Business teams and plays a critical part in security design, role readiness, training alignment, testing, and cutover activities.

Key Responsibilities:

User-to-Role Mapping Execution

• Execute user-to-role mapping across Finance, Supply Chain, and HXM systems.

• Validate that end users have the correct access for future-state SAP processes.

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of role assignments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Security and Functional teams to validate role design and access requirements.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and HRBPs to confirm access assignments and obtain approvals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation

• Educate business leaders on the future-state SAP role landscape, including business roles, security roles, and permissions.

• Facilitate working sessions to validate that role assignments align with employee responsibilities.

• Guide stakeholders through role-mapping concepts and resolve questions effectively.

Governance & Issue Resolution

• Track progress of role-mapping activities and proactively identify gaps, exceptions, or unique access needs.

• Support resolution of Segregation of Duties (SoD) concerns in collaboration with Security and Compliance teams.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain centralized documentation, trackers, and role-mapping status reports.

• Prepare readiness updates for program leadership, highlighting risks, decisions, and required stakeholder actions.

Integration with Training, Testing & Cutover

• Align role mappings with training plans and course assignments.

• Ensure appropriate user access for role-based testing cycles.

• Support cutover readiness by validating access completeness prior to go-live.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP role mapping, access provisioning, or security design (SAP preferred).

• Working knowledge of:

  • SAP S/4HANA security concepts

  • Fiori catalogs

  • SuccessFactors role structures

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets and mapping trackers.

• Proven ability to coordinate across Security, Functional, HRBP, and Business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly explain SAP future-state role concepts to business leaders.

• Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and driving alignment during role-mapping cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting SAP transformation programs in large enterprises.

• Familiarity with GRC tools, access workflows, or security governance processes.

• Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls and access-risk mitigation.
