Title: Program Manager (PMO)/ Director (Strong PMO)

Location:  New Orleans, LA / Houston, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 day a week to local office
Employment Type- Fulltime with ComTec

• 20+ years of experience in project management, program management, PMO, or project controls.
• 10+ years of experience establishing, leading, or managing a PMO.
• Typically should have handled 40 PMs or above.
• Proven experience developing and implementing PMO processes, standards, templates, and governance.

• Experience establishing and managing PMOs within large enterprise programs is highly preferred.
• Strong experience developing PMO processes, standards, templates, and program governance is required.
• Strong experience managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), RAID, financials, dashboards, and program-level reporting is required.
• Proven experience implementing or managing Stage-Gate governance and documentation, including gate reviews, approval checkpoints, phase-entry/exit criteria, and supporting records, is required.
• Strong program-level risk, issue, dependency, and variance management experience is important.
• Experience consolidating project status across multiple projects/workstreams is highly preferred.
• Experience managing or coordinating PMO support teams is preferred.
• Experience with MS Project, ServiceNow, Power BI, or other PPM/reporting tools is a nice-to-have.
