Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Service Term Expected: 12-month duration
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems, or a related field, and two (2) years of professional experience in systems support and/or systems administration work.
Four (4) years of professional experience in systems support and/or systems administration work within an IT department.
Professional experience for six (6) years performing systems support and/or systems administration work in a state, city, government, or commercial organization but outside of an IT department with no such title held.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Knowledge of Microsoft configuration management systems (SMS/SCCM/MECM/InTune).
Knowledge of systems administration, computer hardware, software configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of operating systems and applications.
Knowledge of copiers and printers.
Job Description
Knowledge of wired and wireless networking and associated technologies (IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Knowledge of computer scripting languages (Powershell).
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of web conferencing technologies (Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting/Webinar, webcams, microphones).
Skill in administration of Microsoft Windows.
Skill in administration of Microsoft Office products.
Skill in administration of Microsoft 365.
Skill in administration of Active Directory.
