Summary

Project Manager – API External Manufacturing
Pay rate: $75/hr

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46285

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support API external manufacturing and commercial supply initiatives with CMO/CDMO partners. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project execution in a GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate activities between Lilly and CMO/CDMO partners.
Support quality oversight, supply coordination, CAPA, deviations, and change controls.
Track project risks and develop mitigation/contingency plans.
Manage project communications and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Support project budgets, financial governance, and cost tracking.
Drive phase-gate/stage-gate project processes and continuous improvement.
Maintain project documentation and coordinate multiple workstreams.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical operations experience.
Experience managing commercial or external manufacturing projects with CMO/CDMO partners.
Strong experience with GMP, quality, supply chain, CAPA, deviations, and change controls.
Strong project management, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Regulatory, and Finance.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
PMP, advanced degree, or project management/validation certification preferred.
