Job Summary

The APD Financial Analyst will support financial planning, budget monitoring, and reporting for Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) projects. Responsibilities include tracking project expenditures, validating cost estimates, maintaining the Medicaid Detailed Budget Table (MDBT), and preparing financial tables and narratives for Advance Planning Documents (APDs). The analyst will collaborate with finance, budget, and project teams to ensure financial information aligns with CMS-approved funding requirements and support MES certification activities.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple priorities and projects
  • 5+ years of project management, training, and meeting facilitation experience
  • 3+ years of MDBT development, budgeting, or accounting experience
  • 3+ years of experience writing, reviewing, or drafting financial narratives for APDs
  • 3+ years of state government or public sector experience supporting health and human services programs
  • 5+ years of stakeholder engagement and collaboration experience
