The Video Applications team is looking for a QA Software Integrity Engineer that has experience with macOS with a focus on Motion Graphics, Animation, and Visual Effects tools for Video Editing software. Ideally, we are looking for someone familiar with contributing to the production of innovative tools for creative professionals, video makers, and visual storytellers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:\n- Driving all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers.\nPlanning, designing, writing, maintaining, and executing test cases manually, but automation with Swift or Python is beneficial.\n- Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques.\nBalancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress/risks effectively and systematically.\n\nYour ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video/photo technologies as well as new testing techniques are what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts.
At least 1 year of experience with consumer-facing media or video applications, such as Final Cut Pro, Motion, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Fusion.\nStrong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, processes, and test planning.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 5+ years of experience in related field
Experience developing and delivering Motion Graphics packages or Effects for Web, Television or Film productions\nProficiency with workflows integrating motion graphics animation ,visual effects tools and 3rd party plugins in combination with non-linear editing software\nUnderstanding of how to advocate for user experience with peer teams like engineering and Design\nExperience with FXPlug development
