Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, fishbone) and implement corrective/preventive actions with measurable outcomes.
- Optimize processes using data analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and structured experimentation (Design of Experiments, DOE where applicable).
- Support new product/process introductions which include process flow, risk assessments, tooling/fixtures, validation, and ramp to steady-state.
- Improve plant layout, material flow, ergonomics, and workplace safety through practical, shop-floor engineering.
- Deliver continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, maintenance, and product development.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience in leading root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, fishbone) and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Proficiency in optimizing processes using data analysis, SPC, and DOE.
- Experience in supporting new product/process introductions: process flow, risk assessments, tooling/fixtures, validation, and ramp to steady-state.
- Demonstrated ability to improve plant layout, material flow, ergonomics, and workplace safety.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
