Role: SAP QM Consultant

Location: Texas (Remote)

Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of the QM solution, including planning and execution to deliver impactful business solutions
• Configure standard SAP QM core sub-modules. These include Quality Planning, Quality Inspection (e.g., origin types 01, 03, 04, 08), Quality Notifications, and Quality Certificates
• Cross-functional: Drive complex system integrations. Align QM rules with Materials Management (MM) for incoming goods, Production Planning (PP) for in-process checks, Plant Maintenance (PM) for test equipment calibration, and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Provide functional and solution support for SAP QM, covering incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outbound inspection, quality notifications, and audit management.
• Drive hands-on configuration, design validation, and issue resolution in SAP QM, ensuring solution feasibility and adherence to SAP best practices.
• Guide teams on quality data, inspection planning, defect recording, and compliance reporting, ensuring audit readiness.
• Mentor junior consultants and QM team members, contributing to team capability building and delivery quality.
• Own the testing strategy across multiple cycles. Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression cycles, and defect triage.
• Guide teams through data cleansing and object migration. Oversee the validation of critical master data such as material masters, inspection plans, sampling procedures, and master inspection characteristics (MICs)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree +
• Min 8 to 10 Years of SAP QM experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Production Planning (PP) and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Hands-on experience across multiple SAP QM implementation phases, including design, build, test, and deploy.
• S/4HANA Projects: Proven experience executing at least 1 to 2 full lifecycle implementations specifically using SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain quality processes, and their enablement within SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for quality process optimization.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
