5+ years of work experience in the system administration field.
Proven record and experience of configuring, managing both manual (bare metal) and automated environments, including patching, upgrading and re-configuring.
Deploy, configure and manage OpenStack environments (manual and automated using Ansible, Fuel, or Kolla).
Perform upgrades across OpenStack releases. Provision storage backends (Ceph, Cinder volumes) and image repositories.
Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Linux/Windows servers and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to maintain operational reliability.
Experience in managing and optimizing public cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Experience in virtualization technologies like Vmware, VCF, KVM, OpenShift virtualization, Kubernetes
Implement security measures, including hardening, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
Working knowledge of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, etc.).
Hands-on experience with enterprise servers Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies such as Fibre Channel zoning, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, and platforms like NetApp, Pure, or PowerStore. Knowledge of identity/auth systems (e.g. LDAP/AD) and storage solutions (LVM, SAN, NFS).
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps clearly and consistently.
Collaborate with other teams to deploy and support applications and infrastructure. Experience with using automation tools AWX, Ansible, Shell scripting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
