Job Title: UKG QA Engineer/ Analyst

Location: Remote; Travel Required to Washington, DC (Onsite once per quarter)
Time Zone: EST or CST Candidates only.
Engagement: 12 Months Contract 

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced UKG QA Professional to support Amtrak. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with UKG ProWFM, particularly Timekeeper, Accrual, and Activities, along with expertise in quality assurance, business analysis, and software testing.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of overall professional experience.

• Candidates must be based in the EST or CST time zones.

• Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with UKG ProWFM, particularly Timekeeper, Accrual, and Activities.

• 5+ years of experience working with JIRA.

• Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, and software testing.

• Hands-on experience developing test plans, test cases, and conducting regression testing.

• Experience creating and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).

• Strong understanding of process mapping, workflows, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis.

• Experience testing integrations involving systems such as SAP and Maximo.

• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar tools.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• CBAP certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience with UKG ProWFM, Telestaff, or Workforce Central.
