Data Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team supporting a leading financial services client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analytics, SQL (Snowflake), Python, and AWS, with the ability to work on large-scale data systems and deliver actionable insights.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries in Snowflake
Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using Python
Work with AWS services (S3, EC2) for data storage and processing
Build and support data pipelines and data products using platforms like Databricks
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering and product teams
 
Required Skills:
5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
Strong expertise in SQL (Snowflake preferred)
Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis
Experience working with AWS (S3, EC2)
Exposure to Databricks / data products / data analytics platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
 
Nice to Have:
Experience with Docker
Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile tools
Experience in financial services or banking domain
