Job Description
seeking a Java Software Developer with project support/hands on experience with a AWS Cloud migration effort. The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of our client''s legacy web application, along with supporting their AWS migration effort. The selected candidate will work with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems.
This position is a hybrid opportunity (1x per week onsite in Reston VA) and requires a final onsite/F2F interview in Reston VA.
Required Skills
- BS Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor''s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- 12+ years Java, Spring, Spring batch, Microservices
- IBM MQ experience is required. Cloud Q is a big plus
- Hands-on experience supporting an AWS Migration utilizing services such as EKS, EC2, AWS API Gateway, etc... is Required. Must have hands on AWS migration exp moving applications to cloud.
- Must have Spring Boot framework, Java (v21 is preferred) development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
- Java Developer with exp in spring framework, databases - database technologies (e.g. cloud, SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, etc.),
- Backend developer primarily with AWS cloud migration Exp
- 3 + years AWS cloud migration experience required.
- Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
- Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
- Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.
- Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.
Preferred:
- AWS related certification
- Amazon Q Developer
- Healthcare Industry Experience
