About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee all aspects of telecommunications and low-voltage project execution. This leader will be responsible for the recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management of all project-related staff, while ensuring quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and project profitability.

ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Personnel Management- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, supervise, promote, and discipline project staff as needed.
- Manage all HR-related issues in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Provide performance evaluations, promotion recommendations, and pay change justifications.
- Guide and support field teams to meet customer and company goals.
Project Management- Serve as the lead on-site liaison with customer representatives.
- Define project scopes, develop estimates, and create detailed task plans.
- Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and job progression.
- Ensure schedules, deadlines, and customer requirements are consistently met.
- Oversee staffing levels, workload distribution, and installation progress.
Operational Excellence- Review job cost postings, invoices, collections, and financial reporting for accuracy.
- Complete all project documentation, including timesheets, work orders, material transfers, change orders, tool transfers, and Job Closing Packages.
- Conduct quality checks, prevent outages, perform job walks, and produce red-lined as-built drawings.
- Lead operational meetings, training sessions, and support the safety program.
Technical Responsibilities- Perform technical troubleshooting as needed to support field teams.
- Ensure compliance with all local/national codes and safety requirements.
- Utilize required tools including punch tools (110/66 blade), crimp tools (6/8-pin), Krone/3M/BIX tools, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, continuity testers, and more.
- Manage truck inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications- 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- 3+ years as a Lead Communications Technician or equivalent.
- 5+ years in telecommunications, low-voltage, construction, or a technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, estimate, and manage project scope through completion.
- Must meet company driving standards and pass required screenings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barker, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
