Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN or Irving, TX (Hybrid)

Contract: Only W2

Must Have

• Hands on experience as an Automation Engineer • Good understanding of Programming Languages: Java, Java Script and Python • Extensive experience in Automation Tools & Frameworks: Maven, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Jmeter, Karate • Exposure to IBM Tools for automated mainframe functional testing: Rational/DevOps Test Workbench (RTW/DTW), Zowe CLI and/or API, HATS • Extensive experience working in a collaborative environment (GitLab, GitHub) • Extensive experience in agile tools (Jira, Zephyr, PractiTest) • API integration and test automation experience (Rest-Assured, Apache, Karate, Postman, JMeter, SOAP UI, Cucumber, apigee)

Experience with Postman or Bruno Hands-on experience with Citrus or other test automation frameworks (preferred) Familiar with QA test management tools like TestRail or PractiTest for documenting test cases and results Strong programming skills in Java Capable of converting manual test cases or Postman collections into automated test scripts Experienced in analyzing and debugging logs using Splunk or Kibana Able to collaborate effectively with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG is a plus Understanding of software development processes and tools including Git, Jira, IDEs, and Pull Requests

• Automation QA for E2E and regression testing with Selenium and Practitest experience. Resource is expected to work on development and maintenance projects for Online Banking and Mobile Native Apps.
• Develop programs that conduct automatic tests on new and existent software.
• Leverage guidelines to develop programs and write automation scripts.
• Designing and developing test scripts.
• Using test automation guidelines. design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.
• Researching issues in software through testing.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
