Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach with strong expertise in Jira to guide teams and leadership in adopting and scaling Agile practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive Agile maturity, optimize workflows, and ensure effective utilization of Jira for project tracking and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach teams, Scrum Masters, and leadership on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Drive Agile adoption and continuous improvement across multiple teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Reviews
- Assess Agile maturity and provide actionable recommendations
- Configure and customize Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, and reports
- Define and implement best practices for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking
- Build and maintain Jira dashboards for real-time visibility into project health and metrics
- Support integration of Jira with other tools (Confluence, CI/CD tools, etc.)
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to refine backlog and prioritize work
- Work with leadership to align Agile practices with business goals
- Provide coaching on Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.)
- Identify bottlenecks and improve delivery efficiency
- Implement Agile metrics and reporting frameworks
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira (administration, configuration, reporting)
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean)
- Experience coaching distributed / remote teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile KPIs and metrics
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Confluence and Atlassian tools ecosystem
