Required Skills - Minimum Qualifications: • Prior relevant experience of at least 3 years with large organizations/projects with multiple projects and teams. Priority to given with state government/health and human services projects. • Bachelor’s degree required. • Advanced understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) activities and phases including with hybrid-agile methodology. • Resume must indicate candidate is local to Des Moines, IA area or willing to relocate to Des Moines, IA for the position. • Must have the ability to be on-site in local/client offices when requested weekly. Duties and Responsibilities : • Work directly with the PMO Manager following associated project processes and quality assurance expectations. • Conduct project onboarding and staff management activities. • Ability to assist in schedule management and planning activities to align team resources and availability schedules; advanced experience with Microsoft Project. • Advanced experience in managing RAID items including risks, action items, decisions, and issues including contextual understanding for large scale technology projects. • Conduct quality review of deliverables and work products. • Manage office space with assigned tasks and activities. • Work with project teams to identify and track mitigation of project risks, issues, and potential concerns. • Ability to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research as needed. • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience. Responsibilities : • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio). • Strong collaboration and customer service skills. • Ability to work in a high-paced fast environment with multiple project teams and team leads. • Understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC). • Excellent organization, prioritization, planning, and general administration skills. • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others. • Excellent computer skills, especially typing. • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of project tracking tools such as ADO preferred.
