Project description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support and enhance secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments. The role focuses on cloud operations, governance, automation, security, monitoring, networking, and CI/CD while ensuring alignment with enterprise and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer enterprise cloud environments and services.
- Implement cloud governance, security controls, access management, tagging, guardrails, SCPs, and cost-management practices.
- Identify vulnerabilities and support security risk mitigation.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational activities.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and automated deployments.
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and cloud reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to continuously improve cloud environments.

Mandatory Skills Description:
- Overall 8+ IT experience
- 4+ years of recent experience in Cloud IT Operations or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Advanced experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python and/or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, security, access controls, governance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience using AI tools for cloud automation, operational analysis, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments, particularly healthcare
