SUMMARY:

This position is well suited for someone with a basic background in information security with solid understanding of user access and identity management and internal security monitoring. This role is accountable for the day-to-day IT security operations across Universal Orlando with global responsibilities for security management, compliance, monitoring and reporting security events. Overall responsibilities include user account provisioning and take on the enterprise identity management at UO. This job will afford an opportunity to support the overall security processes and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES                                  

 
  • Responsible for the daily monitoring and remediation of enterprise identity and access management.
  • User account provisioning, including reviewing and auditing roles access and permissions.
  • Support day-to-day operations and work closely with network and server teams, as well as the security compliance analyst to mitigate security related issues as required.
  • Investigate, audit and periodic validation of user/network accounts.
  • Manage the overall enterprise Identity and Access Management.
  • Manage VPN access.
  • Assist with the coordination and facilitation of account provisioning.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled internal assessments.
  • Assist in configuration, testing and implementation of applications.
  • Responsible for the continuous monitoring and protection of user accounts information. Monitor, and validate changes to the environments for security impact and work under guidance of Sr, Security Manager to correct risks.
  • Responsible for performing security reviews of IT projects (new and ongoing).
  • Assists IT Security and Compliance Manager in providing input and representation on key security initiatives, meetings and committees.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Basic understanding of Information Security and it’s requirements and prior “hands on” experience in maintaining user provisioning and access management.
  • Experienced communication skills as to influence and motivate others across departmental lines and move teams toward change, regardless of authority.
