Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior AWS DynamoDB Developer with strong expertise in NoSQL database design, AWS database services, and hands-on development experience.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing DynamoDB solutions, collaborating with application architects and SMEs to ensure robust and scalable data models.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Design & Development:
Design and implement NoSQL data models using AWS DynamoDB.
Optimize database schema for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
AWS DynamoDB Configuration:
Configure DynamoDB tables, indexes, and partitions.
Implement Global Tables, Streams, and TTL for distributed systems.
Automation & Coding:
Develop scripts for data migration, schema updates, and performance tuning.
Write Lambda functions and integrate with AWS services for database operations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with application architects and SMEs for database updates and integration.
Provide technical guidance on best practices for NoSQL and AWS database technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS DynamoDB and related AWS services (RDS, Aurora, Document DB, S3).
Proficiency in NoSQL data modeling and understanding of distributed systems.
Programming & Automation:
Skilled in Python, Node.js, or similar scripting languages.
Experience with AWS SDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
