Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our dynamic team supporting The Northern Trust Company. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure DevOps and cloud platforms and play a key role in designing and implementing robust, scalable cloud solutions. This role supports critical digital transformation initiatives and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders in an onsite/hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures using Azure and other cloud platforms to meet business requirements.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing systems.

·         Oversee development and deployment activities using Azure DevOps Pipelines to improve operational efficiency.

·         Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous learning and best practices.

·         Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

·         Develop and maintain detailed architecture and process documentation to support compliance and knowledge sharing.

·         Implement and enforce cloud security and governance best practices.

·         Lead migration of on-premises applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

·         Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services aligned with business needs.

·         Partner with stakeholders to define and execute a cloud strategy and roadmap.

·         Monitor and manage cloud resources, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

·         Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in cloud computing and DevOps.

Required Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience with:

·         Azure DevOps Boards

·         Azure DevOps Server

·         Azure DevOps Pipelines

·         Proven expertise with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

·         Experience working with one or more major cloud platforms:

·         Azure

·         AWS

·         Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

·         Demonstrated success designing and implementing cloud solutions in a hybrid or onsite work model.

·         Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.

·         Strong problem-solving abilities and proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

·         Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·         Relevant certification preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified).
